Class pictures are tomorrow. Payment is due by May 3rd, an envelope will be sent home tomorrow as well. Hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend.

Please have your child wear sunscreen, bring bottled water, wear old clothing/shoes, and bring a towel…the kids will be messy 🙂 This is a fun day and we hope to see you there. Parents you will be able to sign your child out at the end of all activities.

Kona Ice truck will be there afterward. All students will have the opportunity to purchase a snow cone following all field day activities. Coach Underwood has asked that students participate in ALL activities before leaving or purchasing a snow cone. We have not been given a price for snow cones yet, I will post this info as soon as I get it.

The kids worked so hard on their Texas Unit, I wanted to show off all their great art work and research.

On Thursday, April 11th we will be going on our 1st grade field trip to Yesterland.

I sent a note home today in their take-home folders with all important information . Please read it, fill it out, and return the BOTTOM portion to me.

We are looking forward to a fun day!

Our class will lead the CHAMPS Assembly this week! If you would like to attend the assembly starts at 8:00 and lasts for about 30 min. We hope to see you there if you can make it!

1st Grade will have student led conferences on March 20th. This will be an all day event and time slots will be set up using Sign Up Genius. Please make sure you arrive before your scheduled time, because we only have 15 minutes per student. Each child will showcase their work and discuss how far they have come this year. If you can not come please ask a relative or someone close to your child to sit in for you. There will also be staff members available to sit in if no one is available.

1st grade play will be Thursday, March 7th @ 9 am.

Please send your child to school in jeans and a black shirt on the morning of the play.

Parents will be allowed to take their child home immediately following the play.

Our Valentine party will be Thursday, February 14th 11:45-12:45. I will send home a note Monday with more information.
